Privacy Policy — SwipeStash
Last updated: August 20, 2026
SwipeStash is a browser extension that lets you save ads from Meta's official public Ad Library (facebook.com/ads/library) into your own personal swipe file. This policy explains what data the extension does and does not handle.
What the extension accesses
- SwipeStash only runs on
facebook.com/ads/library/*— the official, public ad transparency tool Meta operates. It has no access to any other page, including your personal Facebook or Instagram feed, messages, or account data. - When you click "Save to SwipeStash" on an ad, the extension reads that ad's publicly displayed information (advertiser name, ad image/video, ad copy, Meta's public Library ID) directly from the page you're already viewing.
Where your data is stored
Everything you save is stored locally in your browser (chrome.storage.local). Nothing is sent to us or to any third-party server. Uninstalling the extension deletes your saved swipe file.
Payments
The optional one-time unlock is processed entirely by Paddle.com, our merchant of record. We never see or store your payment card details.
